PLAYBOY STOPPED ITS MAGAZINE PUBLICATION

A first for Playboy and a resounding announcement for Hugh Hefner :

the famous male magazine Playboy announced on Wednesday March 18 that its Spring 2020 issue would be the last edition of the year.

In question ?

The coronavirus obviously, as reported by the Women's Wear Daily.

Ben Kohn, CEO of Playboy Enterprises, explained his decision to stop presses until the end of the year, to devote himself exclusively to "a digital timetable".

In 66 years of existence, Playboy had never had to stop the publication of its paper numbers.

But it is to forget that we have long gone beyond Gutenberg.

"During these 66 years, we have become more than a magazine," Kohn explains in his open letter, before adding,

"And sometimes you have to leave the past behind to make room for the future."
