Sasha Luss, became the new icon of Luc Besson.

Sasha Luss, that all the houses of great creators get away from Louis Vuitton Prada through Balenciaga has already played for the French director in

"Valerian and the City of a thousand planets" in 2017.

It was hard to recognize her under the digital mask of her character, Princess Lihö-Minaa, transformed by the morphing technique used by James Cameron before Luc Besson in "Avatar".

Two years later, the young woman is indeed the star of this action movie shot late 2017 at the Cité du Cinéma in Paris.

Born in 1982 in the seaport of Magadan, Eastern Siberia, Sasha Luss participates in dance competitions.

An ankle injury forced her to give up her dreams of ballerina.

She becomes a model, winning her first contract at the age of 14.

From magazine covers to fashion shows, she caught the attention of foreign designers and Karl Lagerfeld chose her for a Chanel fashion show in 2001.

Of all the Fashion Week, she also appears in the mythical Pirelli calendar, in 2015, in front of the lens of the photographer Steven Meisel.

Now represented by IMG Models, sister agency Bella and Gigi Hadid, she has a dual career as a model and actress.

Luc Besson chooses his muses, all heroines with grip :

Anne Parillaud in Nikita, Milla Jovovich in The Fifth Element, Scarlett Johansson in Lucy........

and Anna in the eponymous film, an explosive mix between Nikita, Lucy and the Leeloo of the "Fifth Element".

And the director of the "Big Blue" has healed his cast: the one who pulls faster than his shadow will have by his side Cillian Murphy (the Peaky Blinders series), Helen Mirren (The Queen) or Luke Evans (Fast and Furious).

Action movie in theaters on July 10th.
